1. How long does it usually take to ship an item?

   We have a 24-to-48 hour shipping policy for any item in stock. For next-day shipping, we ask that customers place their order by 3 p.m.

2. Does Preston Hardware have gift cards or gift certificates?

   We have a gift certificate program in place. On our web site we sell digital gift certificates (for e-store use) or gift cards that can be used at our Preston Street location.

3. What credit cards does Preston Hardware accept?

   We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express on our e-store. All orders are processed in Canadian funds.

4. Do you provide free shipping?

   We provide free shipping within the Ottawa region (Canada) (east-west from Kanata to Orleans and north-south from Gatineau to Manotick). There is a minimal charge for delivery outside this area. For items that can be shipped via UPS, the shipping rates will be automatically calculated at the check out. For fragile or oversized products, a representative will contact you shortly after your order with a shipping quotation.
